WQAD - News Channel 8 / Children’s Therapy Center Telethon

The telethon does 3 things for us:

• It helps us raise over 1/3 of our unrestricted income
• It educates parents and health care professionals about our services
• It educates the viewers on why they should support us

Telethon gives the community the opportunity to meet some of our extraordinary kids and their families and hear stories of their achievements- no matter how big or small they may seem to others.

Telethon is our most crucial fundraising event! Events like this help guarantee that no child is ever turned away, regardless of the family’s inability to pay for the services needed and provided. 100% of every dollar raised stays here helping our local children.

Last year’s event raised $185,730.00 and our goal is just $1.00 more for the 2009 Telethon!
