Board of Directors

Board of Directors

One of the greatest strengths of the Children’s Therapy Center of the Quad Cities is its volunteer Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is comprised of professional people, business people, former and current consumers and interested community members who serve on a voluntary basis.

Each Board member is elected for a three-year term and can serve for two consecutive terms (six years). After two consecutive terms, the Board member must rotate off the Board for at least one year before being eligible again.

The Board of Directors of the Children’s Therapy Center establishes the parameters within which the organization operates. The Executive Director, who is hired by the Board of Directors, is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Children’s Therapy Center of the Quad Cities and answers directly to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors monitors and directs the overall operation of the Children’s Therapy Center through a very active committee structure.
