Our Mission: to provide direct services to people with disabilities and We are celebrating our 57th year of service to children and adults in
the Quad Cities and surrounding counties. Incorporated in 1949 as the Foundation
for Crippled Children, our name was changed in 1983 in order to create a
more positive image. For forty-one years, the Foundation's treatment center
operated out of a remodeled home on the campus of Augustana College in Rock
Island. We're currently located at 1504-13th Avenue in Moline.
Over the years, thousands
of individuals have benefited from our servicesregardless of their inability
to pay. In addition, there are no geographical restrictions on the provision of
services, so we serve families from throughout southeast Iowa and western Illinois.
We take great pride in the fact that we are able to play an important role in
helping children with disabilities learn to walk, to talk and to use their hands
and arms more effectively.
